Education is an important facet of my career.  Without the wonderful guidance and insights from my teachers I would not be where I am today, so I consider it a great  honor to assist your with your musical growth. Whether you are a student or an adult amateur, I take great pride in your progress.

Conducting

Laguna Flutes began performing in Fall 2013 under the direction of Cynthia Ellis. Since that time they have grown from an ensemble of 6 to one with over 25 flutists, including a Contrabass. They began their Fall 2017 season under their new alliance with OC Music and Dance and performed their Christmas program at South Coast Plaza as well as a lobby concert at the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall (pictured above), an annual tradition since 2013.  Laguna Flutes finished their Spring 2018 Season with a performance at The Willows Foundation in Laguna Woods, CA. Their repertoire included I Paused in the Wood by Jonathan Cohen, Riverumba by Katrina Emtage, Summer Insomnia by Nicole Chamberlain, Variations on an Ancient Pavane by Ervin Monroe, and Wordless Songs by Judy Nishimura.

The ensemble is beginning its 6th season in September 2018 and always welcomes new members.  If you are a flutist in southern California who is interested in joining, visit our website!
